Chapter one: the family
Life was a bitter struggle for the Bradley family as Mister Bradley age 56 was the sole breadwinner of the family. The meager income of 600 dollars per month was not nearly enough to sustain the life of the family. Though faced with financial difficulties the family was bonded in times of trials and difficulty. And the bond they had in the family was what kept Mister Bradley from breaking down and even to have the slightest thought of giving up. The woman behind Mister Bradley who has been supporting him all this while was Mrs. Bradley a petite old dame who was a virtuous wife and a gentle mother she did her very best in all she done, be it taking care of her husband or her kids. The old dame had gentle features; her eyes were always shimmering and her lips were on a perpetual grin however no man could outrun age and finally age has caught up and taken had its toll on her, the wrinkles on her forehead shows it all the endless years of relentless service she put into running the family. Mr. and Mrs. Bradley have two kids whom which they are really proud off, they were Lloyd and Jessica young as they might be, the maturity of these two never fails to amazed the old couple. Just that time when Lloyd soccer boots wore out and really needed a new pair, Mr. Bradley had agreed to buy the best there was on the market however due to the bad economic market Mr. Bradley was forced into taking a pay cut if he wanted to keep his job. Lloyd Bradley understand the situation and made no fuss about it instead he went to get a part time job even though it clashes with his soccer training and the money he earned was used to help the family go through the hard times. The youngest of the family was Jessica Bradley Lloyd younger sister and the apple of the eye for both Mr. and Mrs. Bradley. Jessica was a jovial girl and she had such a sweet smile that no one could resist looking at her for a second time. Although Jessica was not working part time, during her free time she would try to do some housework and help out her parents in whatever way she could. The family was a bunch of ordinary folks which lead a simple life; doing ordinary stuff and enjoying what they have together sharing pain and joy.
When you are down do not despair; for the sun would rise again another day.
When someone you love leaves you; do not cry for someday you would meet them again up there.
For when the moon goes down, the sun would rise and it would bring new hope for the oncoming day.
And one day when you stand before the gates of heaven you look back and you would realise that god has always been there.
His gift to you is what you are; your gift to him is what you become. So crack a smile give it your best.
For I just want you to know you give me wings.
Take a shot give it your best soar up high and feel the sky
For when you fall, god is always there to lift you back up high into the sky
He gives you wings to fly, and to fly high you shall. Do not turn back, do not cry
Look up at the sky and soar your way up high.
